Funding is currently restricted to a 20-mile radius around Red Wing, Minnesota. Preference is given to organizations which operate programs in the Red Wing area. The Jones Family Foundation makes grants to qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations which are tax exempt as defined by the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation also makes grants to federally recognized public schools and governmental agencies. No grants are made directly to individuals.
Organizations that meet the above grant guidelines may submit a Grant Application form to The Jones Family Foundation by completing the Grant Application form and submitting it to the Foundation via email, fax or mail. The Jones Family Foundation Board of Directors reviews the grant applications periodically and makes the final decisions regarding funding applications. Applicants will receive a written notification by the Foundation regarding funding within 60 days of receipt of the application.
Should your organization receive funding from The Jones Family Foundation, you will need to complete the Grant Evaluation form which is also found online and send to the Foundation via email, fax or mail. The Grant Evaluation form is for you to objectively evaluate the effectiveness of the utilization of these funds for your organization, project or program.
Both the Grant Application and Grant Evaluation forms are available on this website. The forms are in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Word format, and they may be downloaded to your computer to complete and print out.
