Rich Bodensteiner

Rich is a local business leader with 35 years of experience in engineering and operations management for medium to large public companies. Most recently retired from HNI Corporation as Vice president of Operations with direct responsibility for multi-plant manufacturing operations and distribution sites in North America. He is currently a partner in Automated Equipment LLC, located in Red Wing, MN, a holding company of various manufacturing and distribution companies sourcing and selling worldwide. Rich has lived in Red Wing for the past 27 years with his wife Julie, and has 3 daughters who have all graduated from Red Wing High School. He currently serves on a variety of non-profit boards, including Community and Economic Development Associates (CEDA), The Jones Family Foundation, Every Hand Joined, United Way, and Mayo Clinic River Valley System. Rich enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and outdoors, on the river, and at their Wisconsin cabin. 

One of Rich’s many guiding philosophies in life is, “I strive to leave the world a better place than when I entered it, but I’m challenged with the fact that I’m quickly running out of time!”
