Tim Kelly

Tim Kelly has been a financial advisor with Discovery Financial Centers for 25 years. He became an owner and partner of the firm in 1997. Tim and his wife Sue have four children and five grandchildren and are lifelong residents of the Red Wing community. He has held many volunteer positions in the community centered around service and youth. These include the United Way, YMCA, Kiwanis, Blandin Leadership program and the youth associations of football, baseball and basketball. Tim also served and chaired the Red Wing School Board for five years which led to his elected position as Representative in the Minnesota State House of Representatives from 2008 – 2016. In his duties as Representative, he served on the committees of Public Safety, Education Finance, Energy, Civil Law, Health and Human Services and Ethics.
